Sam is always moving. From his musical background, analytical curiosity, fast-paced hobbies, and inability to stick with one tonal center, this theme is present in every aspect of his psyche. Music is the perfect way for Sam to capture his movement; it allows him to deeply explore his disparate ideas and emotions within a heavily structured framework. This outlook on music is at the forefront of Sam’s journey to find his own musical voice.

Though his family currently resides in Texas, Sam calls no place in particular home. Because his father served for twenty years in the United States Army, he moved fourteen times with his family throughout his childhood. This heavily impacted his musical background, as he studied piano under seven different teachers. At the age of thirteen, he began to explore electronic music composition and produce his own EDM tracks. Sam carried this hobby into his college years, which began in 2019 at Texas A&M University. After two years of keeping his nose pressed to the mathematics textbooks, he could no longer subdue his passion for music and transferred to Belmont University, where he now studies music composition. His current goal is to merge a classical mindset with electronic music production to shape his sound, whether that be for his own projects or for film or video game scores.

Sam’s current projects include three albums that are all in early development. The first one is a re-imagining of the EDM tracks he produced in his teenage years. The second is a collection of tracks based on the streets he grew up on. The third is an avant garde electronic album that will serve as a commentary on the shadow side of today’s technologically integrated society. Sam is also composing various classical orchestral and chamber works.
